Next week, Vampire Weekend drops their second album, Contra. My cousin and I are going to see them play in March, and it seems like the planets are aligning to make me over as a female version of the band- the newest J. Crew catalogue arrived in the mail yesterday and it's full of Sperry TopSiders and chinos. I've never had much of a desire to summer in the Hamptons, but every time I listen to VW, all I want is to throw on boat shoes and go to the country club to have a G&T and play cricket. Or just wear some Hamptons worthy outfits.
